Stay Hydrated

Water helps keep the skin looking radiant, it is also very important for the body. With the weather getting colder it can have a negative impact on your skin. The colder harsher weather can dry out the skin. The heaters in the car, at work and on public transport offer dry heat which also dries out the skin. Drinking water helps nourish the skin. Moisturisers can help keep the skin supple and looking hydrated.

Moisturisers with hyaluronic acid or serum with hyaluronic acid can help add the moisture back in the skin. Hyaluronic acid can attract up to 1000 times its own water weight. Using a facial oil suited to your skin can also help keep your skin hydrated and looking supple.

Cleansing routine

Keep on top of your cleansing routine. Use your regular cleanser as much as you during the party season. If it has been a long night out the last thing you want to do is take your makeup off but removing the makeup will help remove all the impurities and environmental pollution on your face too. Wipes can be a quick alternative to your normal cleanser on nights out   but not to use a regular occurrence as they will not clean the skin properly.

Exfoliating

Exfoliating can help remove any build up of dead skin cells. Facial exfoliating scrubs or enzymes are available and help remove the build of keratin skin cells. Skin sheds itself normally however in winter months with the weather colder and the skin getting drier the exfoliator can help remove the dead skin cells. Exfoliating the body can also help remove dead skin cells and give the skin a smoother finish. Exfoliating can help remove any in-growing hair by bringing them up to the surface.
